A bit ABOUT me

I love visual story telling. My university training was in documentary film making and this influences my photographic style. I count it a great privilege to share in people's stories. I aim to capture authentic moments as they unfold using natural light and surroundings.

I was born in Northland, NZ and spent my early years in remote rural New Zealand which helped instil in me, a love for nature and imagination... My childhood was filled with tree climbing, river swimming, hut making and exploration. I have also lived in Gisborne, Hamilton and Auckland (with some time abroad amongst it).

I am now based in Mt Maunganui with my husband and our two children. I love to embrace opportunities for adventure, and traveling for photography projects is always fun (when my schedule allows ; )  I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to find out more.
